Environmental & Land Use Planning

Brian Pugh brings more than 22 years of experience in community master planning, land entitlement, environmental permitting and project management in the Southwest and Intermountain West. He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from UNLV and a Master of City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah. He has successfully permitted utility-sized industrial facilities (underground gas storage), electric utility facilities (substations, solar arrays, battery energy storage), residential and commercial development projects. He has extensive experience working with municipal planning and engineering staff to meet regulatory compliance requirements. In addition, he is well versed in National Environmental Policy Act permitting related to acquiring Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity and Right of Way grants on Federal lands. Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
